Starting summer 2026, VIP fleet will be enhanced with the new Lexus ES premium limousine. Alongside the Lexus LM, this addition guarantees VIP guests a luxurious and captivating driving experience to/from the aircraft.
We are pleased to announce an exclusive service enhancement for the VIP guests flying with airlines in Terminal 1.
A dedicated VIP check-in counter during peak hours from 09:00 to 12:00 will ensure a seamless and private start to your journey. In addition, all supplementary document checks that previously took place at the gate are now conveniently conducted in the VIP Lounge. This upgrade guarantees greater comfort, efficiency, and discretion for the guests.

Guests of the VIP Service can now experience the EMTech Chair, recently introduced to the VIP Lounge and available exclusively to the VIP Service guests. Developed by the University and the University Hospital Insel Bern in cooperation with the Swiss spin-off EM Technologies, the chair uses non-invasive, nature-inspired electromagnetic technology designed to promote deep relaxation, mental well-being and, in the long-term, longevity.
A relaxing session takes just 15 minutes, offering a unique opportunity to unwind and recharge during your VIP Service experience.
For guests departing from Zurich Airport, new CT scanners are now available at selected security checkpoints, allowing passengers to keep liquids and electronic devices in their hand luggage during screening. At these checkpoints, liquids of up to 2 litres per container are permitted.
Please note: The VIP security checkpoint will be equipped with CT scanners in 2028. Until then, the 100 ml liquid restriction remains in place. Guests travelling with larger quantities of liquids may use one of the airport’s CT-equipped security check- points, where available. Your personal VIP agent will be pleased to recommend the most suitable screening option.
