Hotel Abi d’Oru takes its name from the Sardinian ancient dialect, Abi d’Oru meaning golden bee. This beautiful hotel overlooks the private beach for hotel guests, with fine white sand, at the end of the Golfo di Marinella, just 4 kilometers away from Porto Rotondo, close to the Costa Smeralda and 12 km from Olbia, 15 minutes from the airport. It is the first hotel opened in this area, back in 1963.

At the Trattoria del Pescatore restaurant, one of the few pieds dans l’eau venues along the coast, the catch of the day, shellfish, and seafood crudités are enjoyed to the sound of the waves lapping on the beach.

At sunset, dinner awaits with a menu focused around traditional Mediterranean and Sardinian cuisine, daily specials prepared by the chefs in the open kitchen, themed evenings, show cooking and, once a week, a traditional Sardinian buffet.
Trattoria del Pescatore, a historic seafood restaurant in Milan, belongs to the Ardu family, who now bring their authentic seafood dishes to the Abi d’Oru, where the catch is the protagonist and the guest is at the centre of the experience.
The restaurant, which opens onto the hotel’s garden, is an authentic Osteria offering simplicity, tradition and the summer scents of the charcoal grill. Specialities include Neapolitan and contemporary pizza, grilled meats, and Mediterranean starters featuring Sardinian cured meats and cheeses.
The sommelier will guide you through the wine cellar, where the island’s top labels are conserved and matured.
The true driving force of beach life is the Beach Club Trattoria del Pescatore, serving umbrella service during the day and elegant aperitifs in the evening. The Pool Bar offers smoothies, appetizers, fruit platters, and ice creams that can be enjoyed while relaxing on the poolside loungers or on the lawn. With a stunning sea-view terrace, the Lobby Bar is ideal for a sunset aperitif or after-dinner drink accompanied by piano music.
