The vast 25,000 m2 park that surrounds the Grand Hotel hosts four large pools accessible all year-round, with water that varies in temperature from season to season. The thermal water of the spa springs right inside the hotel grounds. Abano Terme’s thermal water contains a combination of mineral salts, iodine, and bromine that is found nowhere else in the world and that holds valuable anti-inflammatory properties.
The purity of white across the White Spa conveys the spa’s true spirit: taking wellness to the highest possible level both in the treatments and the facilities. The treatments here are based on mature thermal mud enriched naturally with valuable algae. We carry out the treatments in large private rooms, each designed to be almost like a hotel room. Each treatment room has a lounger where to lie down to have the mud applied, and also a whirlpool tub, where enjoying a bath in swirling thermal water immediately after the mud application. The White Spa is a sumptuous 3,640 square meter facility where the purity of white meets state of the art thermal wellness treatments and beauty sessions.
The thermal water of Abano Terme springs out at a temperature of 86°C inside the hotel’s grounds. In Spa they cool the water and use it in the pools, thermal baths, and all the Spa treatments. In Spa they mix it with clay from the Euganean Hills and then leave the mix to cure for at least 60 days at a constant temperature ranging between 40°C and 45°C. This creates the thermal mud that is used in the treatments.
